イーグルショット - Eagle shot

For this technique, the player must have strong legs and loins, usually a result of training in the snow (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 65, pages 67-68) to strongly kick a shot with a course close to the ground.
Because the course is close to the ground and the shot powerful, it's usually making clouds of dust (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 71, pages 60-61) or spraying water if there is rain (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 100, pages 10-11).
Since the user usually trained in the snow to perform this kind of shot, it's still viable under bad weather conditions (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 100, page 9).

It was also called the Northern countries shot (北国シュート - Kitaguni shot) (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 89, page 75), since the user must have strong legs and loins to perform it, usually a result of training in the snow. However, other players managed to perform it, like Oozora Tsubasa (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 104, pages 16-17) or Carlos Santana (World youth arc, chapter 8, pages 60-61), and even though they undeniably have strong legs and loins, it wasn't due to training in the snow. It was also named wild eagle shot (荒鷲ショット - Arawashi shot) (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 89, page 75). When Santana used it though, it was called Golden eagle shot (ゴールデンイーグルショット), probably because Santana's version was stronger.

Due to its low course, it is a good option against jumping players, especially a free kick's wall. This is especially useful if they are expecting a high shot like the drive shot (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 91, pages 31-32).
