ドライブシュート - Drive shoot - Drive shot
This shot is making an unusual curve, going up, then falling towards the goal, this is due to the drive effect, a rotation effect much harder to perform than a side rotation effect (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 56, pages 12 to 14).

A ball goes up naturally when shooting, by bending the body, it'll be on target, the next step to perfect the drive shot is to use a drive effect (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 56, pages 12 to 14).

Although the effect is hard to master, the shot has many advantages. The first one is going above an unaware keeper in to score (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 56, page 13).

The second one is that it can go over a wall of field players, during the game or for a free kick, while most of the other shots would need at the very least, a free spot (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 77, pages 36-37).

The last one is that the drive rotation effect is also adding strength to the shot in addition to the player's natural shooting power (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 77, pages 42 to 45).
