This is a cooperation tactic between Diaz and Pascual. While Pascual is going forward, Diaz is keeping the ball and luring multiple opponents, before (poorly) pretending it'll be impossible to keep the ball, and then seemingly clearing it (Rising sun arc, chapter 34, pages 1 to 5).
In fact of clearing the ball, Diaz actually sent the ball to a very specific spot. Most people will think the ball will either cross the goal line or the touch line (Rising sun arc, chapter 34, page 6), Pascual and Diaz are the only ones rushing forward at this point (Rising sun arc, chapter 34, pages 6 to 9).
But Diaz in fact aimed at the corner flag, so rather than crossing either lines, it will bounce back into the field, be picked up by Pascual, who will send it to Diaz, rushing in front of the goal, for a good goal-scoring opportunity (Rising sun arc, chapter 34, pages 10-11).
