In a Toyota commercial video parodying Captain Tsubasa, his role was played by a comedian sharing the same name, Wakabayashi Masayasu.

There is the kanji for "three" in his first name, which was apparently nothing, but in the recent "Memories" dedicated to him, we discovered that there was the kanji for "two" in the name of his older brother Eiji who is the second son, and the kanji for "one" in the name of his oldest brother Shuichi, which is obviously a pun, making them 1st, 2nd and 3rd born of the family..
