野崎 - NOZAKI
Appearances

World youth

He's now a free sports journalist, and came to Brazil to see Tsubasa's match against Santana's Flamengo (World youth arc, chapter 6, pages 7 to 9).
He'll then observe All Japan youth's first training camp, and reveal that just like Tajima, they were sports journalists before and became specialized in soccer ever since the junior high school soccer tournament and Japan Jr. youth victory in the International Jr. youth tournament (World youth arc, chapter 11, pages 2 to 3).
During the first round of the youth Asian preliminaries, he'll correctly assess along with Tajima that Thailand youth is Japan's strongest opponent in this first round (World youth arc, chapter 19, pages 24-25), and be surprised to see Japan's sorry state (World youth arc, chapter 19, pages 29 to 31), understanding that they have trained really hard, but doubting that decision considering the condition of the players (World youth arc, chapter 20, pages 2-3).
Before the 2nd round however, he'll see that the newspapers in Indonesia, where the 2nd round will be held, don't think that Japan is a favorite, considering how much troubles they had in the first round. He'll thus understand that this is what Gamo was aiming for, not using Hyuga, Misaki and the others for the 1st round because of the scouting parties from the other asian teams, and Gamo will indeed give him an hint that the real japanese team will play the 2nd round along with Tajima, they'll make an article with Tsubasa's ambition of winning every game of the 2nd round as their title (World youth arc, chapter 20, pages 106 to 114).
He'll be among the journalists covering the World youth (World youth arc, chapter 51, page 6). He will overhear the conversation of a mexican reporter along with Masaaki, and will be surprised to hear that reporter state that Mexico youth will obviously win against Japan youth, because they lived in poverty and the world youth is the best chance for them to be noticed by the best clubs, and also because they confirmed their utmost determination to win against Japan youth and Oozora Tsubasa, already submitting a headline before the match begins "Magnificent debut agasint the world's armies for the Genius, Miraculous keeper born in Mexico, Ricardo Espadas" (World youth arc, chapter 52, pages 10 to 12). That mexican reporter will tell him and Tajima a peculiarity about Espadas, the fact that his playstyle in the second half can be guessed according to his uniform: if he's keeping the same, he'll play the same way, a white uniform means he'll be even more on the attack, while a black uniform means that he'll focus on defense (World youth arc, chapter 52, page 84). After Japan youth's victory however, the mexican reporter will congratulate him and Tajima (World youth arc, chapter 53, pages 28-29). Afterwards, still with Tajima, they will see Uruguay youth training at night, even though they played against Italy youth before during the day (World youth arc, chapter 53, pages 60-61).
