Position
He's a defender (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 85, page 29), maybe a right sideback (3109 days full record Data Book), considering he's seen on the right (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 94, page 51).

Abilities
According to Manabu, Nagano, Iwami, Oda and Nakazato, he was greatly influenced by Tsubasa and became good fast. But according to Tsubasa, it's only thanks to Ishizaki himself, because he made more efforts than the others (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 85, page 27).

Offensive abilities
He can cover for a teammate losing the ball (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 85, page 68). According to Wakabayashi, his overlap may be too slow (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 90, page 13). He can overlap on the right side (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 94, pages 51 to 53), can overlap to attack (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 94, page 185).

Passing
He can return a throw-in with a pass (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 92, pages 2-3), can send a high pass to a teammate with the left leg (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 85, page 42), (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 87, pages 3-4) his pass can be intercepted by Galvan (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 94, page 185).

Cross
He can be prevented from sending a centering by Gareya but not from sending a backpass in the center (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 94, pages 51 to 53).

Defensive abilities
He may be lured by a dribbling Schneider, allowing the later to send a pass to an unmarked teammate (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 86, page 109).
Along with Jito, Soda, and Matsuyama, his defense can be tough for even four players like Andrea, Conti, Dimos and Federico, (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 92, pages 56-57), along with Matsuyama and Jito, he can perform the offside trap under Misugi's directives (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 99, pages 141 to 143).
He may not be able to react to Diaz' acrobatics during his miraculous overhead shot (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 94, pages 16-17), may not react to Diaz changing direction at top speed (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 94, page 27).
Pierre can rush towards him, then dodge him by jumping with the ball between his calf and thigh, making him collide with Misaki to get rid of his marking (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 99, pages 6-7), might be lured along with Matsuyama by Kaltz under Wakabayashi's directives but then be tricked by Kaltz letting the ball go through (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 107, pages 31 to 33).

High ball contest
He's jumping lower than Mayer and probably Harness but be in a better position to hit a high ball than Jito and Harness (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 86, pages 104-105).

Ball stealing
He might not be able to take the ball from a dribbling Schneider (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 87, page 52), and might be tricked by a fake move based feint from Golbate (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 91, pages 11-12), might not react to a dribble breakthrough from Diaz (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 94, pages 148-149), might not be able to reach Schneider before the latter can pass the ball (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 105, page 48 to 51), can let Kaltz get away from a free-for-all fight with the ball (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 106, page 35).

Sliding tackle
He may not be able to take the ball from Schneider with a sliding tackle (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 86, page 108), Schneider can keep the ball against successive sliding tackles from him, Soda, Jito and Matsuyama, Schneider won't be able to shoot but will still be able to pass (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 105, pages 22 to 24).

Interception
He can intercept a pass from Senior High schoolers of Mihara (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 85, page 42). He can be surprised by Bayern Jr. youth's swift attack with passes (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 89, page 69), might not react to a pass kicked directly without controlling the ball from Conti (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 91, page 51), may not be able to intercept fast circulating passes from Italy Jr. youth when it's a 2 vs 7 situation (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 91, pages 87-88), might not react to Italy Jr. youth fast circulating passes (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 91, page 96), might not react to a pass from Pierre even though it's sent in a small gap between him and Jito (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 99, page 100), he might not be able to do anything against the eiffel attack (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 99, page 178).

Marking
He can mark an opponent like Schneider along with Soda to prevent him from receiving passes (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 103, page 139).

Blocking
He can rush to block a regular shot from Schneider, but will be unable to block his shot done with the heel (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 86, pages 110-111).

Face block
He can stop a shot from Bossi with a face block, which is his specialty (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 100, page 80), but may be too late to block a fire shot from Schneider with a face block and will be bruised only by the air frictionned by it (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 103, pages 124 to 132), but can eventually stop a fire shot from Schneider with a face block at point blank range (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 107, pages 32 to 36).

Clearing
He can clear the ball in front of Tardelli (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 92, page 50).

Face clearance
He can stop, with what is looking like a face clearance, a curving shot from the corner spot to the near goal post from Kaltz (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 106, pages 28 to 30).

Combi play
Jito can propulse him with one leg so he can stop a banana shot from Diaz with a face block (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 95, pages 32 to 37).

Injury resistance
After stopping a fire shot from Schneider with a face block at point blank range, his nose can bleed and he can feel dizzy and eventually faint and leave the ground (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 107, pages 49 to 51).
