Offense
One of their attack pattern is the playmaker Izawa passing the ball to the wing Taki, dribbling up the sideline and sending a cross to Kisugi who is scoring (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 3, pages 51 to 53). This is their favorite attack pattern (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 5, pages 9-10).

Set play
The team is strong with set plays as they can score with them even when they're dominated (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 7, pages 27 to 38).

Defense
The sweeper Takasugi is the one defending the goal when Wakabayashi isn't here (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 3, pages 7 to ).

Birdcage
The team can use the birdcage to waste time (Captain Tsubasa arc, chapter 6, pages 20 to 26).
