In Next Dream, Aoi was called back to this team, and wonder if he'll be able to play against Tsubasa in the Champions league, and will do his best to win it. Ishizaki was also transferred to this team (Next Dream chapter 2), and he will ahve troubles to be appealing, by making mistakes. Encouraged by Yukari though, he'll do his best even if he isn't a regular (Next Dream chapter 20). Despite Aoi's support, he will still feel out of place, but will keep on training extra hard (Next Dream chapter 32). During a practice match deciding the starting line-up for the current season, he'll play stiffly and awkwardly, probably because of nervousness, and will eventually be substituted (Next Dream chapter 33). He will quickly get over it, and perform well in the next practice match, preventing him to be loaned to another team (Next Dream chapter 34). He won't even be in the reserve for the first match though, while Aoi will be playing greatly, and it'll be the same for their champions league match against Barcelona (Next Dream chapter 35).
